Novomatic
Novomatic is a famous gambling company launched by Johann Graf in 1980.[1] The company functions in 80 countries, including Central, East, and Southeast Europe, as well as Asia and Latin America. [1] The Novomatic Group consists of a three holding companies.[2] Also, it has 43 offices and its own casinos all around the world. Nowadays, Novomatic has over 30,000 employees.

In 1970, Johann Graf and his partner Gerhard Brodnik founded Brodnik & Graf company. This company was engaged in the supply of pinball machines from Belgium. However, Brodnik made a decision to leave the company, and Graf began producing slot machines under another brand in 1980. This brand is still existing and calls Admiral. Moreover, a lot of casinos were started under the Admiral brand. Since that time, Novomatic has expanded its influence worldwide and improved technology. It was one of the first gaming developers to use touch screen technology.
Notable acquisitions[edit]
In 2010, Novomatic became an owner of Greentube due to acquiring a controlling stake. After that, Novomatic and Greentube have been producing exciting and unique slots for online casinos. It is also worth noting that the software provider creates online products and various games for mobile and desktop devices, as well as land-based casinos. Besides, these companies develop intellectual games, poker, and many others. This shows that the companies' activities are multifaceted.
By the way, Novomatic and Greentube are expanding their influence worldwide.
In 2020 year, Greentube signed a partnership in Denmark and Mexico.
In 2021, they have entered the Polish gambling market. This year, Greentube also decided to enter the Eastern European gambling market and signed a partnership with Slotegrator. Slotegrator is one of the best software providers, which have a huge influence in this region. Due to this partnership, Greentube will receive a lot of clients in Eastern Europe.
The next countries where this company is planning to expand its influence should be Germany and Netherlands.
In 2016, Novomatic also acquired the company Talarius from the Australian Tatts Group.[3]
