NowServing
NowServing is a Philippine telehealth platform that enables patients to search for physicians, book appointments, and conduct remote consultations. The service launched in 2020 as a patient-facing extension of SeriousMD, an electronic medical record system used by healthcare providers in the Philippines.[1]
History
NowServing was developed by Leapfroggr Inc., the company behind SeriousMD. The platform launched during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Philippines in response to increased demand for remote healthcare services and government restrictions on in-person medical visits.[2]
Services
The platform provides a searchable directory of physicians organized by specialty and location. Patients can book appointments online and conduct consultations through video or messaging. Physicians using the platform can issue digital prescriptions that patients receive electronically.[3]
NowServing is available through web browsers and mobile applications for iOS and Android.
