Ntombi Marumbini is a South African ÿShangaan Disco Singer and a dancer. She was Born Mavis Ntombi Kangwenya on 30th september 1970 in Msogwaba village in Mpumalanga province. Ntombi started her music career in 1995 at Bushbuckridge Local Municipality. she has resided in Nelspruit ,Mpumalanga. Studied at Msobomvu High Senior Secondary School , (Unisa) The University of South Africa and Nelspruit Private College .She has worked with other brilliant south african music genius like ; Chris Mkhonto aka General Muzka, Lazarus Rambau aka King General, Magolide and Selwyn Shandel. her music success can be attributed to working with amazing record labels of : Gramma Records, Sony Music Entertainment, Sheer Publishing (Pty) Ltd ,Vidisco ,Cool spot music production ,Emi Music Group, MUZKA Investment,Shandel Group ,Gallo Music. She was also known as the queen of shaangan disco and .She became famous for her popular Shangaan Disco Music, Sexy Belly Dancers,Her unique voice and sence of contagious and infectious afro-beat that made her shine all over Africa .sadly she passed away in march 2017.
