History[edit]
NuLa Entertainment was established in 2012[1]. It’s name, NuLa, was derived from the Haitian Creole transalation of “we are here”.
The label's first two artists, were Galette’s longtime childhood friends, Jason & Carlo, who go by the stage names Howie DoDat & Don Carlo.
From 2015 to 2016, Galette suffered back-to-back season ending Achilles injuries causing a shift in his focus. The label has expanded since; working on bigger projects and signing artists mainly with a New York influence such as Corey Finesse & Sheff G.
