Numeris Footwear is a British luxury footwear brand founded in 2021 by Andrew Davies and Henry Jones.[1][2] The company is based in Swansea, Wales, and manufactures its footwear in Portugal.
History
Numeris Footwear Limited was incorporated on 29 March 2021 in Swansea, Wales.[1] The company was co-founded by Andrew Rhys Davies and professional footballer Henry Jones.[3]
In October 2022, the Welsh football club Haverfordwest County announced a partnership with Numeris Footwear, referring to the company as its official footwear partner.[3] A follow-up announcement in February 2023 again highlighted the partnership and noted that several public figures, including footballers James Maddison and Ashley Williams, had worn the brand’s sneakers.[4]
In 2025, Numeris launched a nationwide out-of-home advertising campaign in partnership with TBP Media, featuring billboards across London and Manchester.[5] Later that year, the brand announced its availability at Selfridges stores in Manchester and Birmingham, as well as online.[6]
Products
Numeris produces minimalist, limited-edition sneakers combining British design and Portuguese craftsmanship.[7] Each pair is handcrafted in Portugal from European-sourced leather and components, with the brand emphasising small-batch production and attention to material quality.[4]
Retail and distribution
Numeris operates primarily as a direct-to-consumer brand through its website, numerisfootwear.com.[8] Its sneakers have also been stocked by third-party retailers including Flannels[9] and Farfetch.[10] The company has been featured in influencer collaborations, including a 2023 campaign on the fashion blog *OLVR*, which described its designs as “clean, versatile, and minimal.”[11]
Reception
The brand has been worn by public figures including professional footballers James Maddison, Ashley Williams, and Jermaine Jenas.[4] It has also been discussed in online fashion and sneaker communities such as Reddit’s r/Sneakers, where users described its style as “modern minimalist” and compared it to other premium European sneaker labels.[12]
