Nupur Goyal is 246th UPSC 2018 rank holder.She completed her B.Tech. from Giani Zail Singh PTU Campus ,bathinda. She lives in gidderbaha,a small town in malout distirct of Punjab.[1]
Early life and education[edit]
Nupur was born in Bathinda to Deepak goyal and Meenu Goyal. Her father is a businessman and mother is a Homemaker. She was among the toppers in School. She studied Computer Engineering from Giani Zail Singh PTU Campus Bathinda. She is a gold medalist in academics in college.In 2015, she moved to Delhi for the exam. She has secured 246th rank in UPSC.She said she cleared the exam in her third attempt. “In 2016, I could not clear the preliminary exam. In 2017, I could not clear the mains exam. Finally, my hard work paid off and I cleared the mains and got the 246th rank in the exam held in 2018. I could not believe until I saw the results myself,” said Nupur.[2]
