Gameplay
The objective of the game is to guide a white square to collect all the Bits (tiny yellow squares) in order to complete the level(s). It uses a touchscreen to control the white square, which reacts in a different way (depending on the block where it’s standing) whenever the player taps it.
Blocks
| Name | Color | Behavior | Sides |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal | Gray | This block does nothing but change the direction the level rotates when the player hits it on the left or right side. | Every side |
| Air | Transparent | — | — |
| Bit(s) | Yellow | These tiny squares are meant to be collected (every single one of them – max. 20 per level) in order to complete the level.
They emit a yellow circle, a sound (which may be higher or lower depending on where the bit is placed) and sometimes a geometrical shape They also serve as in-game currency. |
Every side |
| Launch | Cyan | It makes the player jump automatically. The maximum height for a jump (by this block) is 14 blocks. | Above |
| Rush | Green | It makes the player go faster. | Above |
| Crash | Red | This block kills the player instantaneously when hit. | Every side |
| Glide | Purple | It makes the player float around the level. | Above |
| Warp | White | This block teleports the player depending on where they hit it: if the player is at the center of the level, they will be teleported to the outer stripe of it and vice versa. | Above |
| Hang | Orange | This block makes the player float around the level as long as they are hanging on it. | Below |
| Fade | Blue | This block works like the normal one but, when hit, it disappears after a few seconds. | Every side |
Sections
Currently, there are 7 sections in this game plus one that will be released on November 13.
- Play: 150 offline levels divided in 7 worlds (one for every special block) plus 3 extra worlds (Fantastical, Tricky and Maddening).
- Explore: the section where players can submit their levels; it’s divided in 15 pages: new, promoted, new pro, trending, top auto/easy/medium/extreme (updated monthly), ultimate, top 20 creators, following creators, top 20 players, search, [player's name].
- Shop: where the player can:
- buy Bits;
- convert Likes into Bits;
- remove ads.
- Options: the game options, social-media pages and credits.
- Achievements: there are 48 of them divided in 4 skill levels (Novice, Semi-Pro, Pro and Master).
- Create: the level editor that allows the player to create its own levels and publish them on Explore.
- Daily: every day it’s updated with a new level; if the player completes 6 of them in a row, they get 1000 Bits.
Currencies
There are actually 2 currencies in-game that can be used to promote user-created levels in the Explore section or to buy backgrounds, blocks and more space for levels in the Create section:
- Bits: players can get them by:
- collecting them in levels;
- completing levels (the harder levels give the player more bits);
- converting Likes in the Shop.
- Likes: people can create levels that can be uploaded to the Explore section and if other players like them, they will get Likes.
