OSR Enterprises promotes a component called EVOLVER which is an onboard computer for cars that collects personal information from users' smartphones and health-monitoring devices and monetizes it.[1] OSR planned to unveil its vehicle in 2023 and manufacture 10,000 vehicles a year by 2024.[2]
Though its hardware is unspecified, EVOLVER software runs on PikeOS.[3][4] EVOLVER was allegedly "integrated" onto a 2018 Jaguar I-PACE car in 2019 at a trade show, but the company has not given any updates on this "collaboration" since its first and only appearance.[5] OSR Enterprises raised approximately 150 million dollars.[6]
OSR Enterprises purchased text-to-speech company VivoText in 2023. OSR's chief product officer, Shai Nissim, was the CEO of VivoText before joining OSR.[7]
Lawsuits
OSR Enterprises has sued several of its Israeli employees in courts in the United States, Switzerland, Japan, and South Korea. OSR alleges that it has filed a police report against its employees' actions, but no criminal charges were ever made and none of the employees were requested for police questioning.[8]
