Obinna Sunday Ejianya (born 22 February 1971), popularly known as SMOG,

Early life[edit]

Obinna Ejianya is a native of Mgbakwu town in Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra state. He also received his early education in Mgbakwu town. He completed his High School at the Community Secondary School, Mgbakwu, formerly known as Mgbakwu Boys High School.[2] Despite the limited resources and opportunities available to him, Obinna was driven by a deep-seated desire to create a better life for himself and his family.From a young age, Obinna showed an exceptional aptitude for learning and a keen interest in pursuing higher education. However, financial constraints and societal expectations posed significant challenges to his dreams. Obinna successfully obtained a scholarship to study in Singapore, where he pursued a degree in Information technology and graduated in 1994.[3]

Career[edit]

In the early 90's, Obinna Ejianya was the CEO of Sole Business Machines(SBM), this company was one of the suppliers and distributors of IBM typewriters and other business machines. It was also one of the first companies to sell and distribute Personal Computers in Nigeria at that time.[4] As well as being the CEO of Obix Technology, he is also currently the CEO of Nine communications Nigeria limited as well as a publisher in 9news Online.In the year 2007,Obinna Ejianya partnered with companies in Australia and Asia to form Global Success International SDN BHD, an International Business to Business (B2B) company responsible for sourcing goods and services for corporate bodies across the world.[5]
