Early Life

Jackson Makwiza grew up in Ndola, in a family of two. Makwiza spent his childhood with his grandparents after the loss of his mother in 2009. He moved in with his father and brother.

Career

In 2019, Ocazey' discovered his talent and started writing songs. He later sold a song to singer yo maps and Ocazey was nominated for Most Outstanding Male Musician during the Ngoma Awards. He then released his first single "enjoy your life" in 2022 and won the 2022 Zambia Music Awards as best new comer. He later concentrated on school and, after his exams, released a new single "Ndi kuchalo[1]" which featured rapper Triple M and became a household hit.
