Oday Brahem is a Canadian entrepreneur and the founder and chief executive officer of vote.direct, an online voting platform.[1] He is running for Richmond City Council in the 2026 municipal election with the Conservative Electors Association.[2]
Career
Brahem founded vote.direct, which runs elections for homeowners associations, condominiums, co-operatives and churches. The platform offers self-serve and fully managed elections, and counts online votes and mailed paper ballots in a single tally.[1]
2026 Richmond council campaign
Brahem is a candidate for Richmond City Council in the 2026 municipal election, endorsed by the Conservative Electors Association.[2] He is one of 55 declared candidates for the council's eight seats.[2][3] The election is scheduled for October 17, 2026.[4]
