Odisha Diary

Odisha Diary is a media platform focused on news and views from Odisha, an eastern Indian state. It was launched in 2005. It is recognized by the Department of Information and Public Relations, Government of Odisha as a media platform[1].

OdishaDiary has sister organisations under the banner of Odisha Media Private Limited and Odisha Diary Foundation, such as Odishan (Odisha's first Unicode Odia portal), IndiaEducationdiary (Education news portal), Kalinga Literary Festival [2] and Mystic Kalinga [3]

History[edit]

Odisha Diary established in in 2005 in order to provide one stop online platform for news and views on the state of Odisha.[4] Founding members are Rashmi Ranjan Parida, Kamala Kanta Dash. The team has created two more platforms for meaningful engagement on the issues of Odisha. Odisha Living Legend Award was launched in 2011 and Kalinga Literary Festival in 2014 and Mystic Kalinga in 2017 [5].

Odisha Living Legend Award[edit]

Odisha Living Legend Awards acknowledges and honours great contributions to the state of Odisha. In last six year leading names of the state of Odisha have been honoured with Living Legend Awards,[6][7]

Youth Inspiration Award[edit]

Youth Inspiration Award was launched in 2012 to provide a single platform to the youth to learn from the Living Legend Awardees[8]

Kalinga Literary Festival[edit]

Kalinga Literary Festival was launched in 2014.
