Early Life[edit]

Childhood and family[edit]

Diwura was born in 1991 in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital to the family of academia, Oladimeji Oladepo, a professor of Public Health at the University of Ibadan while her mother is a registered nurse. She had four other siblings and, in an interview, stated her parents’ dedication to saving lives was an influence on her career path.

Education[edit]

She has a B.S. Economics, Obafemi Awolowo University, then went for her MBA at the Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University and obtained her Master of Advanced Management at Yale School of Management to gain exposure to management training and education outside of her own country.[2]

Career[edit]

Oladiwura is the Executive Director at Technology for Social Change and Development Initiative (Tech4Dev), a Nigerian based Non-Profit Organization which gives access to decent work for Africans. Oladepo and Joel Ogunsola started Tech4Dev in 2014 during the Ebola crisis in their country. The idea was to provide relevant information about the disease in a timely manner.

Their informational website ultimately received over one million unique visits. She is the Chief Growth Officer at Prunedge, a technology solutions company in Lagos. Her contributions and goal of ending poverty in Africa and around the world have not gone unnoticed. Her achievements have been recognized by several institutions. In 2022, she was named winner of the Waislitz Global Citizen Choice Award.

She was also named Female Innovator of the year 2022 at the Africa Tech Festival Awards.
