Biography
Olatunde Brain was born in Ogba, of Agege Local Government, Lagos Nigeria to a civil servant Mr. Mufutaudeen Oladipupo and a fashion designer Mrs Florence Adesuyi.
He spent his teenage years as a latch-key child, after his paternal grandmother with whom he was living, succumbed to a long-term illness. His father had died the previous year, the same year he learned of his mother’s demise for the first time. These series of events turned him into an absolute introvert and he began to find solace in writing.
Career
Olatunde started contributing to political articles as an intern at the strategy unit of the Lagos State Ministry of Information and Strategy,Alausa, Ikeja. His first article was titled Between the Dame of Abuja and the Dame of Lagos.
In 2019 he published his debut book, Beautiful Love Pond and was nominated in the Young Adult Category of the 2020 Author Academy Awards[1]
