Oleg Mistyuk (born July 1, 1975, Donetsk, Ukraine) is a banker, and the general director of the Kyiv City State Administration Public Utility Company Kyiv Investment Agency since August 2014.
Biography[edit]
Oleg Mistyuk was born on July 1, 1975 in Donetsk. He is married to Julia Mistyuk. He is raising a son and a daughter.
Education[edit]
Oleg Mstyuk studied at Donetsk State University from 1992 to 1997. He received a specialist degree in Finance and Credit. In 2002, Mistyuk received a Senior Executive in Corporate Finance MBA at the Mccallum Graduate School of Business (Bentley University) and senior management training on public-private partnerships at the Kennedy School of Government (Harvard University) in Boston.
Career[edit]
Oleg Mstyuk has more than 20 years of management experience at the board of directors level, with successful practice in the investment attraction and public sector operations.
He has twice been an adviser to the World Bank, he has been an expert on the Deposit Guarantee Fund, and adviser to the largest financial institutions in strategic and operational restructuring of business during the last 5 years. He has unique experience in the transformation of organizations, both private and public, in difficult times of crisis; in project management; and in the development of legislative initiatives in the financial, energy and transport sectors.
In August 2014, the mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, invited Mistyuk to lead the municipal enterprise of the Kyiv city state administration the Kyiv Investment Agency and set up a reform office for the in-depth transformation of the state apparatus and establishing a transparent mechanism for attracting investment into municipal projects in eight different sectors of the economy.

Management of the Kyiv Investment Agency[edit]
In 2016, under the direction of Oleg Mistyuk, a new strategy for the development of the Kyiv Investment Agency was adopted. Reforms have been implemented to shorten the term of conciliation procedures for investment projects to 90 days and created a single office of interaction between the Kyiv authorities and investors, which provides the most transparent investment process for all parties. This increased the participation of international financial institutions and development agencies in municipal programs.
In the period from 2014 to 2017, the Kyiv Investment Agency has attracted over 2 billion hryvnias of investments into the economy of the capital. 26 investment agreements with international and local investors were signed.[1]
Oleg is currently working with investors from 10 countries - 145 deals in 8 different sectors of the economy – from supporting small and medium-sized businesses to large-scale infrastructure, transport and energy projects.[2]
