Olivia Umurerwa Rutazibwa is a Belgian-Rwandese scholar known for her work in international relations and political science. She is a research fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Early Life and Education[edit]

Olivia Rutazibwa was born in 1979 in the City of Brussels. She earned her licentiate degree from the University of Antwerp in 1999. She then pursued a master's degree at Ghent University, which she completed in 2001. Rutazibwa later obtained her doctorate from the European University Institute in 2013.

Career[edit]

Rutazibwa is currently employed as a research fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her scholarly contributions focus on postcolonial theory, international relations, and the politics of knowledge production.
