Olivia Rutazibwa
Olivia Umurerwa Rutazibwa is a Belgian-Rwandese scholar known for her work in international relations and political science. She is a research fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Early Life and Education[edit]
Olivia Rutazibwa was born in 1979 in the City of Brussels. She earned her licentiate degree from the University of Antwerp in 1999. She then pursued a master's degree at Ghent University, which she completed in 2001. Rutazibwa later obtained her doctorate from the European University Institute in 2013.
Career[edit]
Rutazibwa is currently employed as a research fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her scholarly contributions focus on postcolonial theory, international relations, and the politics of knowledge production. She has been recognized for her work on decolonizing international relations and the role of race and gender in global politics.
