Club career[edit]
A Cameroon born boy, Olivier Kemen joined FC Metz U19 in 2013 and progressed through the ranks. Training basic skills and tricks which would put him on track to becoming a French Super star, very positive comments by fans put Olivier Kemen in the spot light, comments like "French Messi" and "Wonder Kid" made Olivier Kemen look like the next big thing. From how he played at FC Metz U19, he looked like nobody could stop him getting to International level and high club level. Then a move to the North of England Newcastle Upon Tyne, offered more opportunity's in his career with more clubs to play against and more domestic cup opportunity's for him to play in. Also the youth training facility's at Newcastle United were a lot better than the ones used by FC Metz U19, Newcastle United also had a large financial barrier so they could afford to put a lot of money into the development team, coaching staff and facility's, Newcastle United opened up Olivier Kemen's career.
Transfer to tyne side[edit]
Olivier kemen made the move to Newcastle United U19's in 2014 and played along side some great young talents, through out his time as Newcastle United U19 he has so far played in 26 games and scored 3 goals, committed 2 assists and has picked up 5 yellow cards. Olivier Kemen is yet to play in a Premier League Game. Olivier Kemen also had the chance from once he'd passed the youth level and progressed to Senior level he could play in front of 52,405 Geordie fans cheering the Toon Army at St James' Park. Also being managed by a lot more experienced and qualified manager at Senior level and as it stands the manager who he would play for is Steve Mclaren. He would also play along side in the Midfield great players like Vurnon Anita and Georginio Wijnaldum. But he would also have to face the huge pressure of the Premier League has to offer. But also playing at such a huge club as Newcastle United F.Cc is, there is also a large amount of pressure from that too, with 52,405 fans watching you play, even if you make one mistake could cause the opposition to score, then the fingers would be pointed at you. So Olivier Kemen had a lot of pressure on him and a lot of pressure to come in the future. But also moving from one country to another Olivier Kemen had to learn the English language, just so he could communicate with most of the players, but thank fully there were some French players with him at club to make him feel at home and to settle him in.
