Olu Mike Omoasegun
Olu Mike Omoasegun (born December 14, 1970).[1] [2] is a Nigerian gospel preacher, internationally recognized Christian author,[3] [4] Freelancer, and founder of CAC Mikoas Prayer Ministry [1], and current President of Bible University.[2] In 2001, he was ordained as a full-time Pastor in Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide.[5]
He is a Professor of Leadership and Management, Professor of Biblical Studies/Ministry and Christian Education at Bible University, Canada, and Global Professor from International Internship University India.[4] His interests range from pastoring, education to writing. Mike Omoasegun earned 3 PhDs; He also got his undergraduate degree (Biblical Studies) in 2011 from Bible University, Canada, a Master in Biblical Studies in 2012, and a Doctor of Biblical Studies at the same university in 2014. He obtained a Doctor of PhD in Biblical Theology from Beulah Bible College and Seminary, USA in 2017.[4]
Moreover, Dr. Mike Omoasegun holds a PhD in Leadership and Management, a Master in Business Administration – Academy European Open University Germany,[4] a Professional Diploma in International Marketing, a Professional Diploma in International Business Management, a Professional Certificate in Content Marketing, a Professional Certificate in Time Management Skills, a Professional Certificate in Communication Methods, and a Professional Certificate in Computer Graphics, all from Europe Open University Germany,[4] a Certificate in Communication Skills from International Business Management Institute Germany,[4] and a Diploma in Human Resources Management from Alison Institute.[4]
Early Life and History
On December 14, 1970, Olu Mike Omoasegun was born in Okemesi-Ekiti, in present Ekiti State, South-West, Nigeria.[5] He was born into a family of idol worshippers. He was raised by his grandmother who is an African Church member in Okemesi who introduced him to Christian life through attending early morning prayer, but Mike was arrogant towards such activities. After he graduated from secondary school in 1987, he went to Osogbo, now the state capital of Osun State where he learned how to sell furniture materials. He became born again in 1990 during a revival program organized by Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Latona Osogbo, and later baptized in 1990. Omoasegun later went to Kaduna to learn printing and publishing. At Kaduna, he started attending Christ Apostolic Church Worldwide, Oke-Iyanu, where he received a calling in the ministry. According to Pastor Omoasegun, he received a mandate from God during his encounter with God in June 1998, to preach the gospel around the world, and God changed his name to Omoasegun, and promised him to make the name known worldwide. This is the inaugural vision that led to the founding CAC Mikoas Prayer Ministry aka The Author of Life Ministry right from Seminary in 1999 through writing bulletins and tracts, and later on became an Online ministry that started in 2006 through social media.
