OmniCam

The name "OmniCam" first appear in the middle 90´s as a static unused webpage dot com. Also, at same time is used to designate two new image capture equipment. The first is developed by an University (if anyone knows more about this early stage...please help) and became now explored by FraunhoferHH Institute in Berlin under the designation of omnicam-360, stands for a 360° view camera, based on several mirrors, delivering panoramic video. The other was a railcam (or trackcam) system running since 1996 with a registered trade mark in Portugal dated 1997, with the same company name. Later in 2012 Sirona a German stomatology equipment manufacture had register the EU trade mark of omnicam for a 3D dental image build camera.
