Richard Bennett (born 13 May 1994), better known by his stage name Richyblazz, is a Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Okrika. Richyblazz started his Full Career in 2013, while at Higher Institution, a member of Discovery House, as an active actor and stage manager. After school, he discover he as a great talent for designing, he fully goes into designing of all kind of forms, in Nigeria FMs, Record Labels etc, making his career history, with his God given Talent “Web developer and programmer ” Richyblazz started his musical career doing underground collaborations Releasing "Y ME" under the outfit. Richyblazz, before collaborating with MGT RCORDS on his song "Summer Nite". In February 2017. Richyblazz was born on 13 May 1994, to Mr. and Mrs. Bennett. He grew up in Sangana Satellite Town and later relocated to
Yenagoa . He attended Community Secondary School, and later enrolled at Jibril Rivers State Polytechnic in Bori, Richyblazz started his performing arts career as a street jam and carnival dancer. In a 2013 interview with Entertainment Express, he said that his stage name was given to him by a Ex-date whom he met at the City of Bayelsa State. Richyblazz has cited Patoranking, Falz, Fela Kuti, Lucky Dube, Davido, Tuface, , Blackface, and as his key musical influences. In the aforementioned interview with Entertainment Express, he said he references socio-political issues in his music. He has described his music as a morally inclined variation of dancehall. In October 2016, Richyblazz released a single titled "Y ME". The song, which is a fusion of dancehall, was produced by AMS Rcords. Richyblazz told Entertainment Express that Julietblazz his girl friend composed the song by sharing some ideas to him. And current he is the owner of Krafts Empire Entertainment.
