"On My Love" is a song by Swedish singer Zara Larsson and French DJ David Guetta. It was released on 15 September 2023 through Larsson's record label Sommer House as the third single from her upcoming fourth studio album. Its music video followed the same day. The song marks Larsson and Guetta's second collaboration, the first being "This One's For You", which was released in 2016.
Composition and lyrics
"On My Love" was described as an "upbeat, jovial anthem" by Uproxx,[2] while People called it a "club-ready dance track."[3] Referring to the lyrics, Larsson said that the song is about "the relationships you have in your life that mean so much to you that you would put everything on them. Whether that’s a platonic relationship, something with a family member, a lover, a friendship or whatever it is - we all need someone that just brings you pure joy, because that’s what life is all about.”[4]
Music video
The music video was released alongside the song on 15 September 2023. The video includes childhood footage of Larsson and her sister, as well as shots of them swimming and dancing together.[3] People described the music video as "heartwarming."[3]
