OneConnect Financial Technology Co., Ltd. (OneConnect; Chinese: 金融壹账通; pinyin: Jinróng yīzhàngtōng)[note 1] is a technology-as-a-service platform for financial institutions.[10] The company was listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2019 (NYSE: OCFT).[11] It integrates the financial services industry with technology to provide technology applications and technology-enabled business services to financial institutions.[12][13][14][15] OneConnect is an associate of Ping An Group.[note 2][17]
As of June 30, 2020, OneConnect had served all of China’s major banks, 99% of its city commercial banks, and 53% of its insurance companies.[18][19] In the same year, it has been added to the FTSE Global Equity Index Series.[20][21]
In September 2018, the ALFA intelligent ABS platform was launched.[22] In May 2019, the Gamma O open platform was launched.[23]
