One Angry Gamer (aka OAG) is a gaming news website run by William Usher, (nickname "Billy D") which has been compared to Breitbart and Kotaku.[1] It has been active on OneAngryGamer.Net since February 2015,[2] spawned by the Twitter account OneAngryGamerHD, established in June 2014,[3] which was associated with articles hosted on BlogJob.com since June 2014, with the earliest article being about the Japanese game Demon Cutter.[4]
Gaming review[edit]
Gaming article subjects from the website referenced by popular publications include:

Censorship review[edit]
An article by OAG Staff was cited in February 2019 by ex-SEAL Rob O'Neill[11] which RT cited as confirmation of Google deleting the YouTube channel of fellow SEAL Donald W. Shipley.[12]
OAG investigated Sony Interactive Entertainment in April 2019, in response to accusations they revoked access to purchased content for a user of hate speech.[13]
In July 2019 it broke the story on the censorship of The Witcher spinoff card game Gwent's artwork censorship.[14]
In March 2020, OAG's report on Crunchyroll disabling comments on their High Guardian Spice anime trailer was cited by CBR.[15]
Movie review[edit]
Billy's thoughts on the upcoming 2022 film Thor: Love and Thunder received criticism from Mary Sue.[16]
Takeover by Neira[edit]
Billy was driven off his own site in summer of 2020 after attacking Black Lives Matter. The new owner, Karol, hired a self-described woke author of suburban Goth girl novels to write articles named J. Neira. Neira continues to write articles to this day, often writing pro-feminist articles like the one about Cooking Companions: https://www.oneangrygamer.net/2023/06/cooking-companions-buff-woman-gisela-is-causing-meltdowns-on-rumble/

Step aside feminists, there’s a new culture war on the horizon. Meet “boner culture,” where everything has to be about cis men’s erections. The term was coined by none other than Gamergate “journalist” William Usher, tweeting for his blog One Angry Gamer. Over the weekend, Usher penned a post on Mortal Kombat 11’s Jade, criticizing game developer NetherRealm Studios
