One More Hit is the debut demo by the American punk rock band Zebrahead.[1] It is known to be the initial band release, featuring the band's very first compositions.[2] The songs "Check" and "Hate" were both re-recorded for the band's follow-up and debut EP, Zebrahead. The song "One More Hit" was also re-recorded later, but was not included on the follow-up release for undisclosed reasons.[3]

This demo was exclusively released on cassette and was never reissued on a physical format, nor redistributed digitally. The demo was given away for free during touring for a limited time.

Legacy[edit]

In late 1998, the song "Check" was re-recorded a second time and included on the band's first full-length album, Waste of Mind.[4]

"Check" would later be re-recorded a third time, this time with Matty Lewis as the lead singer, this new re-recording being included in the band's eleventh studio album, The Early Years – Revisited.[5]
