One Rainy Night

One Rainy Night is a 1991 novel by American horror author Richard Laymon.
Following the murder of a black high school student by several of his classmates, a black rain begins to fall on the town of Bixby, causing anyone touched by it to instantly begin exhibiting violent, homicidal tendencies. The plot focuses on a handful of survivors trying to make it through the night.
