Onne sea port is located in onne community in Eleme Local Government Area, Rivers State, Nigeria.[1]

The Onne Port Complex is reportedly Nigeria's fastest-growing port, according to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA).  [2]

The onne sea port is situated on the Bonny-river along Ogu Creek in onne, Eleme Local Government Area, Rivers State.[3]

The Onne sea port Spread across three local Government Area in Rivers State Which are; Eleme, Bonny and Ogu. Onne sea port is on the Coordinate 4º 39' 7'' N, 7º 9' 28'' E.[1]

The port serves various maritime purposes. In other words, there are other operations in addition to oil and gas operations. General Cargoes, Bulk (Dry and Wet) Cargoes, Oil Well Equipment, Containerized Cargoes, and other logistical services are some of them. It was Nigeria's first port to use the Lanlord PORT Model.[1]

This approach was developed to promote involvement of the private sector in the port industry. Port Harcourt is roughly 19 kilometers away. Federal Ocean Terminal and Federal Lighter Terminal are its two main facilities.

An area of around 2, 538.115 hectares is occupied by the port.[1][4]

An oil and gas free zone surrounds One Port. It is one of the world's biggest Oil and Gas Free Zones. The Zone supports Nigerian efforts for exploration and production. In other words, it provides an onshore and offshore logistics oil service center for Nigeria's oil and gas industry. As a result, it has granted work permits to more than 100 enterprises.[5]

In the 2022 fiscal year, Nigeria Customs Service Area 2 Command, Onne Seaport in Rivers State, produced a total of N242,090,629,309.29.[1]
