Oof (meme)

Oof is a meme that is known to come from the game website, Roblox. The reason behind this meme is the Roblox death sound. Whenever someone dies in Roblox, an “oof” sound effect chimes.

This meme has become so famous that videos on YouTube have surpassed millions of views, because of the “oof” meme. The most famous types of videos that uses “oof” are “oof music videos”. In these videos, the sound effect is put into music videos. Roblox is the most known source of this meme although Minecraft is slightly known to have this death sound effect. They both have very different sound efficiencies, but are similar in meaning.
