OpenLP (Open Limited Partner)

OpenLP is an online community focused on increased communication and transparency between Limited Partners (LP) and the broader the entrepreneur/venture capital ecosystem. The community was started by Beezer Clarkson who felt the LP's role and point-of-view was not being represented in the market conversation about venture.

History

OpenLP started as the #OpenLP hashtag on Twitter in March 2016.  The website OpenLP.com launched shortly thereafter as a digital archive of content from investors in venture funds discussing a variety of topics related to the role of LPs and venture capital.
