Out of the Dump (Opening Shot) also called Guatemalan Children of the dump is a two-part series broadcast on Channel 4 and LWT in 1994 with LWT productions, produced by Gerald Fox and Melissa Raimes, edited and presented by Gerald Fox,[1][2] featuring photo-journalist Nancy McGirr and her project Jovenes Fotografos de Guatemala. Her work involves giving cameras to children who live next to the municipal dump of Guatemala City and allowing them to explore their lives through photography.[2][3]
