Operation Fryday is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action crime film directed by Vishram Sawant. It stars Suniel Shetty, Randeep Hooda, Neetu Chandra, Zakir Hussain, Rohini Hattangadi and Siddhartha Jadhav in the lead roles. The movie is based on the Mumbai underworld. Randeep Hooda plays the role of a police informer, Suniel Shetty as an encounter specialist.
Plot
Ghulam Randeep Hooda is a police informer for encounter cop Sada Nair Suniel Shetty. Ghulam wants his brother to continue with his studies and does everything possible for him to do so. Ghulam’s brother gets killed in a gang war, and he feels it’s because of the Mumbai police. Ghulam becomes completely disillusioned with the Mumbai police and ventures into his own business. He is approached by a businessman to deliver some packages. Ghulam doesn't bother to verify what is in the packages, and it results in bomb blasts across Mumbai. Seeing the savage destruction and the betrayal, Ghulam decides to go alone to avenge the planners of the blast.
