Operation Sharpshooter
Operation Sharpshooter is a widespread malicious campaign to target nuclear, defense, Energy and financial companies. The campaign began on October 25 when an unknown group of hackers from North Korea sent malicious documents via Dropbox that infiltrated 87 US-based organizations. The campaign mainly targeted government organizations, giving hackers the ability to extract intelligence information and send it to a control server where they gain access to usernames, IP addresses, network configuration and system settings Data.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]
