Operational definition
From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki
An operational definition is a procedure for uniquely identifying what a word means.
For Example: operationally define what you mean when you say "Oxygen".
"Oxygen is a clear, oderless gas that when you place a glowing splint in its stream, the splint will burst into flame."
There are many clear, oderless gases but the only one that will cause the glowing splint to burst into flame is oxygen!
