Ophadano
Ophadano is a non-territorial juridical entity with international legal personality.[1]
Societies of Ophadano[edit]
City State of Kitwe[edit]
Though not claiming statehood, Ophadano nonetheless fits the criteria of the state as a legal concept in the Kitwe Charter, the legal framework establishing the City State of Kitwe, which Zambia recognized on July 16, 2020 in Kitwe. [2]
Furthermore, the Kitwe Charter recognizes Ophadano and the City State of Kitwe as two different entities.
State Not Party to the ICJ Statute[edit]
On September 24th 2019 Ophadano deposited in the Registry of the International Court of Justice a general declaration in which it declared that it accepts all the obligations of the Member states of the United Nations under Article 94 of the Charter of the United Nations. In doing so, Ophadano became a State not party to the ICJ Statute to which the Court may be available.[3][4]
