The Order of Merit of the Republic of Cyprus[1] (Greek: Τάγμα Αξίας της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας) is the oldest order of merit and second highest award awarded by Cyprus.[2] [3][4]It was established in 1960[5] after Cypriot Independence. [6]
Grades[edit]
The Order of Merit is awarded in the following five grades:[7][3]
- Grand Cross[8]
- Grand Commander
- Commander
- Officer
- Knight
