Orhan Toker (b. 1968, Istanbul), Turkish research writer and IT scientist. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Istanbul. Then he graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Architecture in 1990 and continued his profession of architecture for two years. He founded his own IT company in 1994. After working in his company, where he was the manager and partner until 2019, he left the company and started working as a freelancer.[1]
He examines the effects of technology on children[2], the awareness of parents in the digital world[3], the negative impact of the technology sector on children[4] and the relationship between child mortality and the Internet[5], and gives seminars and conferences across the country on these issues throughout Turkey. He publishes his research findings on his blog[6] and social media accounts under the pseudonym "Dijital Baba" (Digital Father). Interested in psychology and philosophy, Toker still works as an informatics consultant and social media manager.[1]
He has been married to Neslihan Leyla Toker since 2005 and has a daughter.
