Oryx Engine is an Algerian vehicle manufacturing company founded in July 2017. It produced the first model of Algerian car under the name Timgad Oryx, and the project lasted three years of development. It sought the expertise of international engineering firms and automotive suppliers to design and produce its own models. Three generations of prototypes were required, along with tens of thousands of engineering hours. The brand was registered with the INAPI, and the international chassis number was obtained as an Algerian factory under reference BHF.[1]
