Osama Said (Arabic: أسامة سعيد) is a Syrian film producer, editor and coloring artist.[1][2]

Early life & career[edit]

Osama was born on 15 March 1968 in The State of Kuwait. He graduated with a bachelor of Electronic engineering at Damascus University in 1993 and since then he has been working as a coloring artist especially in post-production films.[3]

In 1993, Osama co-founded ArtWare Corporation; one of the first digital arts studios in the region.[4]

Osama has an extensive showreel that feature collaboration with the MENA film makers and the blue-chip of global international advertising agencies; including ( JWT, BBDO, DDB Worldwide, Young & Rubicam, Leo Burnett, Saatchi & Saatchi …etc.)[5][6]

In 2004, Osama and his team created the breaking through elements of Fulla (doll) (the middle eastern barbie) advertising TV campaigns for more than 10 years.[7]

In 2008 he produced the advertising TV campaign to promote and celebrate Damascus as Arab Capital of Culture developed by JWT and aired globally on many international satellite channels.[8][9]

In 2010 he took the role of the producer, art director and colorist for the docudrama windows of the soul – the story of Syria directed by Allyth Hajjo and Ammar Alani. This film was made to inaugurate the meeting of the International Museums Association in Damascus.[10][11]

In 2014 Osama was the executive producer and coloring artist of the TV award winning traffic public awareness campaign for the interest of GCC Joint program production.[12]

In 2015, Osama was the executive producer for the opening ceremony for the Qurain Cultural Festival, Kuwait leading arts festival and was recognized with appreciation certificate for his enormous role for the notable success of the event.ا[13]
