From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Oscar Scheller (born 8 March 1991[1]) known mononymously as Oscar is an English singer, songwriter and record producer from London.

Life and career[edit]

Oscar was born in North West London[2] to Jewish parents and grew up in a bohemian and creative household. His parents were in the new wave band The Regents.[3] He went to Fine Arts College[4] Fine Arts College and then studied Drawing and Sculpture at Central Saint Martins[5] Central Saint Martins. After graduating he released '146b', a ramshackle lo-fi EP named after his bedroom studio. He then signed to Wichita Recordings[6] and released his debut album 'Cut and Paste' in May 2016 which received favourable reviews.[7][8][9] In June 2018 Oscar released the song '1UP' featuring Sarah Bonito from KKB[10] His music has been described as 'DIY',[11] 'unabashedly personal'[12] and 'fuzzy, pure melodic bedroom pop'.[13]
