Ossai Ovie is a Nigerian digital media strategist, youth advocate, and politician serving as the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori.

Early life

Ossai Ovie Success was born 2 February 1992 in Ogume, Ndokwa west local government area of Delta State and is the second of six children of Ubroda Marian and Ossai Macaulay.[1][2]

Political career

On August 22, 2019, he was appointed under Governor Ifeanyi Okowa (governor of Delta State) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as a political aide from 2015 to 2019. At the age of 23, he was elevated by the governor to Special Assistant on Special Duties.[3] Ossai actively engages in promoting government initiatives and policies, particularly targeting youth development and digital transformation. Ossai is a strong advocate for youth skill acquisition, often organizing summits and programs designed to equip young people with tools for creativity and digital innovation. He highlights his own career path as a beneficiary of social media, frequently urging the youth to use digital platforms for positive change, growth, and entrepreneurship.
