Otto Friedli
Otto Friedli was the founder and leader of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club[1], which he founded in 1948.

Early Life
Otto was born in Madison, Wisconsin in 1931, before moving to Los Angeles where he grew up. In his teenage years he moved to Santa Barbara.
Hells Angels
Otto was a member of the Pissed Off Bastards of Bloomington before leaving the group to found Hells Angels, while in the Pissed Off Bastards Otto attended the Hollister riot.
There has been some debate about whether or not Otto founded the club, however he was believed to be a major member of the club’s beginning era.
Otto would be the president of the club after the previous leader was involved in a deadly car accident in which he died, Otto would stay the president of the national club until his arrest and imprisonment. After leaving prison Otto did not return to the Hells Angels, instead joining another biker group.
Late life and Death
Otto would later in his life work as a mechanic and then in the construction field. After retiring in 2003, Otto would die at 76 in 2008, in Santa Barbara.
