Ordinarily, only on October 12 is she dressed as a "pilgrim" with a shawl and hat, in the old fashion of the humble women of Guadalajara. It is made of maize cane paste and was brought by Fray Antonio de Segovia from Pátzcuaro to Jalisco lands in the year 1530. It is an image that represents the Virgin of Zapopan, pregnant Virgin, or also as it is known from expectation . He is 34 cm from head to toe and has an oval face. His hands are folded in an attitude of prayer and his eyes are large, fixed and open, greenish blue. At the bottom you can see the shoes stepping on a golden crescent.
