Out in the Middle Tour was a headlining concert tour by American country music group Zac Brown Band. The tour began on April 22 2022 in Greenville, North Carolina and concluded on November 19, 2022 in Phoenix, Arizona. The tour was named after the band's 2022 single "Out in the Middle" off their seventh studio album The Comeback.
Background[edit]
The tour was first announced in January 2022 through a statement made by the band. Of the tour, Brown said "We're so excited to go back out on the road and keep the unbelievable momentum going from 2021's The Comeback Tour. It's been such an incredible year for the band, debuting some of the best music we've ever made, and we are thrilled to continue playing live for our amazing fans". Robert Randolph and the Family Band, Cody Johnson, Caroline Jones and Sam Hunt served as the opening acts of the tour.[1]
Critical reception[edit]
The show on November 19 at Chase Field marks the first time since the band's Down the Rabbit Hole Live tour in 2018 that they performed in Arizona and also marks the band's first performance at the ballpark.[2] The show on July 15 at Fenway Park in Massachusetts also marks the twelfth sold out show that the band played there which was a record for the stadium.
