Over the Top Games
Over the Top Games S.L. is an independent video game development studio based in Madrid, Spain. Founded in 2008, the company develops games for consoles, PC, and mobile platforms.[1]
The studio gained recognition with its debut title NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits (2009), a platform game for WiiWare that helped establish the company within the independent games sector.[1]
History
Over the Top Games was founded in 2008 in Madrid, Spain by Roberto Alvarez de Lara, Juan Alvarez de Lara Sieder, Mauro López Arias, and Enrique Orrego.[1] The studio gained recognition for developing downloadable titles for major console platforms, particularly during the rise of digital distribution services in the late 2000s and early 2010s.
The studio released its first title, NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits, on WiiWare in 2009.[1] The game was later ported to Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.[2]

NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits
Released in 2009 for WiiWare, NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits is a platform game inspired by Greek mythology in which players control Nyx, a winged protagonist searching for Icarus across ancient ruins while using powers granted by the gods of Olympus.[7]
The Fancy Pants Adventures
The Fancy Pants Adventures is a platform game originally created by Brad Borne as a browser-based series. Over the Top Games collaborated with Borne to develop and release console versions for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade between 2010 and 2011.[8]
The console release expanded the original Flash games with new levels, cooperative multiplayer, and enhanced visuals while retaining the series' distinctive hand-drawn art style and physics-based gameplay.[9]
Full Mojo Rampage
Full Mojo Rampage is a roguelike action game set in a voodoo-themed world featuring procedurally generated levels and cooperative and competitive multiplayer modes.[10]
The game was released for Windows and later for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with the support of Nicalis.[11]
