Owen Sheehy (born 19 March 1999)[12] is an American[13] rugby union player signed to Old Glory DC.[14]
Early life
Sheehy was born in Bethesda, Maryland. He attended Gonzaga College High School.[15] He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2022,[16] majoring in Chemistry and Genetics.[17]
Career
Playing rugby in high school, Sheehy has been signed to Old Glory DC for the majority of his professional career, since 2021. He has been re-signed both in 2022 and 2023.[18] He played on the USA Falcons XV and USA Select XV concurrently for the Americas Pacific Challenge. Sheehy also trained under the Glasgow Warriors for the 2022 season as a stand-off.[19]
