Search Owlegories on Amazon.Owlegories is an American Christian children's animation series created by Thomas Boto based on the eponymous interactive digital storybook app.[1] The series is produced by Thomas Boto, Chad Gundersen, and Keith Alcorn (who is best known for being the co-creator of Nickelodeon's The Adventures of Jimmy Neutron, Boy Genius) under Spy House Productions and Gundersen Entertainment. The series' first volume was released on DVD in LifeWay and Walmart stores on September 15, 2015.[2]
The music is produced by Mark Menza, who is best known for working on Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius and Dragon Ball GT.[3]
Premise[edit]
Owlegories follows a group of five anthropomorphic owl students who are met by their new teacher, Professor Owlster who instead of giving ordinary lessons, sends his students through a magical door that takes them on adventures learning about nature, faith, and God.
Characters[edit]
- Gus (voiced by Mary Morgan) – An optimistic and rather odd brown feathered owl that wears overalls and is constantly seen eating.
- Joey (voiced by Alison Viktorin) – A self-centered troublemaker owl who loves to tell jokes and make people laugh. He is blue feathered and he wears a letterman jacket.
- Nora (voiced by Jaden Roberts) – A knowledgeable and curious pink feathered owl who is the responsible one of the group. She wears turquoise-colored glasses and two bows holding each of her ponytails.
- Violet (voiced by Holly Franklin) – A joyful and glamorous pastel purple feathered owl who loves beauty and sparkles and has toenails polished pink and wears a sparkling bow on top of her head.
- Twitch (voiced by Thomas Boto) – An adventurous maroon owl who wears an bomber hat who does not speak rather making noises that can only be understood by Nora.
- Professor Owlster (voiced by R. Bruce Elliott) – The wise and serious teacher of the class (TheOWLogy 101) who cares for his students.
- Devlin (voiced by Josh Grelle) – A villainous dark purple feathered owl who rivals Professor Owlster and is always plotting against his students.
- Fink (voiced by Kaleb King) – A bright green feathered hummingbird who is Devlin's sidekick.
