Oxylabs.io is a Lithuanian technology company that provides public web data collection tools and proxy infrastructure.[1] The company was founded in Tesonet accelerator.[2]

It collaborates with Bellingcat and Debunk.org[3][4] In 2020, Oxylabs’ residential proxy network was reportedly used by hackers, including the Nobelium group, to help interfere with EU governments.[5]

History

Oxylabs.io was established in 2015 as a provider of datacenter proxies. In 2022–2024, the company was also included in the Financial Times list of Europe’s fastest-growing companies.[6]

As of 2025, Oxylabs.io’s pool had over 175 million IP addresses in 195 locations worldwide.[7] In July of the same year, Oxylabs launched AI Studio that let users extract data using natural‑language prompts.[8] In June 2025, it acquired the French-based ScrapingBee startup for €10 million.[9]

Overview

Oxylabs provides products related to public web data collection and proxy services.[10] From 2019, the company also organizes an annual conference, OxyCon, focused on web scraping technologies.[11]
