From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

Paul Alberto Sanchez is a Puerto Rican author, screenwriter, director, and film producer. He was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He attended both Pueblo High and Cholla High School, where he first developed an interest in radio and television. His adoptive father died when he was 16, so he moved to Saint George, Utah and completed his high school education there. He graduated from Dixie High School in 1997 and attended Dixie State College until 1999. He was involved in the college radio program until its closure in early 1999. He moved back to Tucson and began a career as a radio disc jockey at 96.1 KLPX until Summer 2002, when he relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah. He took a job as a news editor for KSL-TV, while also becoming the executive producer of "The Block," a local high school sports television show, in 2004. He returned to radio in 2005 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, at 105.5 "The Hawk". He left the radio industry in July 2006, returning to his hometown of Tucson. He currently resides in Seattle, Washington.

In November 2008, Sanchez released his first book, "The Tao of Sanchez." [1] Three years later, he published his second book, a satirical exposé of the television news industry titled, "The Whores We Are." [2]

His foray into filmmaking also began in 2008 with an investment in a low-budget horror film called "Craig." In April 2010, he directed and wrote his short film "Pocho."

In January 2011, Sanchez received approval to shoot his first full-length feature film, "The Diary Of Babineaux." After a ten-month delay by the financing firm, Sanchez has postponed filming, but remains optimistic about commencing production in May 2012. He also has another script, "She Talks To Angels," which he plans to direct and produce before starting work on "Diary Of Babineaux."

In August 2012, following delays on "The Diary Of Babineaux," Sanchez wrote and directed the short film, "Incommunicado",[3] which was filmed and edited within thirty-six hours.

Sanchez has stated that "The Diary Of Babineaux" will begin filming in April 2013.
