History PAM Health was founded by Anthony Misitano as Post Acute Medical, LLC, in 2006 with three hospitals. Over the years, PAM Health built and acquired new inpatient rehabilitation and long-term acute care hospitals in various states, including Texas. [2] Recent acquisitions include 16 from CuraHealth and Cobalt in 2021.[3] PAM Health also developed a behavioral health hospital, Voyages Behavioral Health,[4] and a joint venture with a home health agency, now known as PAM Health at Home[5], to its complement of services.
