History
PASH Global was founded by Kofi Owusu-Bempah and Vine Mwense in 2012. Besides serving as an investor and developer of renewable energy projects, PASH Global structures, builds, operates and maintains small and large-scale clean power assets.
Activities
In October 2017 PASH was backed by the Trafigura Group. In 2020, Trafigura made its first investment in solar power in Africa via Pash Global. [5]It has acquired 49.9% stake in a solar power farm in Mali, Africa through Pash Global. [6][7][8][9][10][11][12]The Kita project in Mali is a project developed by French independent renewal energy producer Akuo Energy is seen to be the biggest solar farm in West Africa and one of the biggest in Sub-Saharan Africa. Pash partnered with Puma Energy Caribe LLC (PUMA) in Puerto Rico. [15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23]PASH Global (PASH) and Oriental Bank in Puerto Rico have closed on a $15 million financing for a joint venture between PASH and PUMA Energy for the solar energy project at Puma gas stations.
