Pronounced ‘Pyramid’, PRMD [1] Music is a wholly independently owned label, founded by Avicii’s former manager Ash Pournouri in 2013.[2] It has offices in Stockholm, London, and New York.

In September 2017, PRMD Music announced signing a new distribution deal with Warner Music Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA), the independent music distribution arm of Warner Music Group. The deal includes some but not all DSP’s.

Background[edit]

Ash Pournouri is an Iranian-Swedish record manager, record producer, songwriter and record executive. After founding management and booking company At Night Management in 2008, Pournouri started electronic music label PRMD Music.

The label’s imprint expanded beyond the remits of electronic music in the past years, and started the sub-label, ICONS, continues to channel the cutting edge of electronic music.
